French Camp, CA — Broward Builders is proud to announce the completion and ribbon cutting of the new San Joaquin County Detention Facility, a major milestone for the County and its community.
Delivered in collaboration with the County of San Joaquin and Lionakis, the new 49,037-square-foot, 268-bed facility is designed to enhance safety, rehabilitation, and operational efficiency within the County’s correctional system.
Key project features include:
- Four housing units and one dedicated mental health unit
- Multiple program and visitation space
- Outdoor recreation area with a full-size basketball court
Comprehensive inmate and staff support areas
Broward Builders provided extensive self-performed work, including earthwork, site utilities, concrete, rough and finish carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall.
