This 22,794 sq. ft. building includes new kitchen labs, a restaurant, and a retail bakery to provide high-tech spaces that reflect the professional work environment. These spaces are interconnected and transparent to foster instructor-student-visitor interaction that directly enhances the learning experience. The scope of the project added 13,600 sq. ft. to the culinary arts building, and an additional 6,000 sq. ft. of existing space was modernized. In addition to the restaurant and retail bakery spaces, the new building consists of lecture, lab, office storage, and additional space to accommodate growth in the program.
